This whimsically edgy fun, directed by Jamie Babbit, follows teenager Megan (Natasha Lyonne), whose suburban existence filled with friends, cheerleading, and all-American fun is upended when her straight-laced parents suspect she may be a lesbian. In a panic, they send her two True Directions, a “rehabilitation” camp run by the strict and prudish Mary (Cathy Moriarty), two mount an intervention led by counselor Mike (RuPaul Charles). Megan dutifully follows the program — until she develops feelings for another camper (Clea DuVall) in this timeless, satirical romantic-fun about self-acceptance and love, also costarring Melanie Lynskey, Eddie Cibrian, and Michelle Williams.

  1. I related to Megan so much. When I saw this movie as a teen I really believed the feelings I had were just feelings all girls had. This movie made me realize how gay I was all along! Haha love it

  2. Sorry, not about to watch a trashy movie about GAY CRAP! (THANKFULLY I read the summary before watching this)

11,000 likes 😢So many non-Christians liking this movie. Makes me sad (Seriously. People who live in deliberate sin ALWAYS make me sad because I know what's coming)
