Wayne and the young money crew bear a lot of responsibility for giving drake street credit he never actually had nor deserves.
Drake was an industry plant and Nepo baby. His dad is a producer and former musician with tons of connections in the industry. He was already a very privileged kid who grew up in a very rich suburb in Canada with two wealthy and successful parents, and extended family.
He never had any business being a hip hop artist speaking on things he knew nothing about and appropriating a culture he knew nothing of… Pretending like he came from the same life of struggle that is the basis of his music..and the heart of hip hop music in general.
