So i thought of a way she could of stop the murder attempt she just needed to have her friends take the dagger and destroy it she doesn't have to tell them why and then she wouldn't be able to kill him since Edgar said take this knife so she just had to get rid of the knife. And I know this would ruin the movie, but it was just a fun workaround I would have done if I was in the same situation.😁
